Kathleen A. Carey, D.V.M.

Dr. Carey grew up in Connecticut, spending the majority of her spare time riding horses, hiking and camping with her family. She earned her Bachelor's Degree in Animal Science at the University of Connecticut. While at the University of Connecticut she facilitated her interests in international development, conservation and environmentalism by studying abroad in Panama, doing research on stranded seal rehabilitation and working with sustainability groups on campus.

Dr. Carey earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Tuft's University, Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine. There she developed a particular interest in emergency medicine and neurology.

Outside of the small animal hospital, Dr. Carey enjoys trail riding with her horse, running, hiking, cooking (well, mostly baking) and visiting family.
